* Little Rock Gaelic Athletic Association

The Little Rock GAA is devoted to promoting the Irish sports of Gaelic football and hurling in the city of Little Rock, the whole state of Arkansas, and the entire Mid-South region. We are currently in the process of recruiting men and women to play Gaelic football in the summer of 2008.

It's fast, it's athletic, it's hard hitting! It's not soccer and it isn't rugby but bears some resemblance to both! Gaelic football is the national sport of Ireland. To Learn more about the rules of the fast paced action that is Gaelic football... Click HERE!

Interested in learning about how to join? Visit our Recruiting page!

Little Rock GAA will play in the Chicago Central Division of the North American County Board against clubs from St. Louis, Chicago, and other cities. In addition, we will play friendlies against the likes of the Austin Celtic Cowboys, Washington DC Gaels, Mason-Dixon Irish Brigade, Denver Gaels, and many others.

For more information about upcoming practices, matches or events please visit the Little Rock GAA Website at the following link...

The folks at Concertina.net have produced a wonderful (free) online resource at http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html
On that page you can just cut-and-paste the ABC notation for any tune into a window, press the Submit button, and it will provide sheet music, a MIDI sound file, and a fully formatted PDF sheet music file. Many thanks to the folks at Concertina.net for providing this useful service to the music community.

Old Blind Dogs

Click HERE to go to the official website for the (fantastic) Scottish group "Old Blind Dogs". The pictures used for their new website were taken by our own Dr. Mark Pippenger when they were here performing at Juanita's in downtown Little Rock. Read their online journals to hear what a great time they had when they were here!
