ACMS 2005 Celtic Fair and Art Exhibition The Mabelvale United Methodist Church will host this year's ACMS Celtic Fair and Art Exhibition on Saturday, February 19, 2005, from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. The church is located at 10500 Woodman Street in Mabelvale, Arkansas. Admission is $10 and includes music and food. The Celtic Fair will open with music by a member of The Lyons College Bagpipe Band followed by a Scottish Fling and Sword dancer. The Celtic Fair will also feature Celtic music from local musicians throughout the day, dancers from the McCafferty School of Irish Dance, the O'Donovan School of Irish Dance, and the Arkansas Scottish Dance Society. Arkansas artists to demonstrate and exhibit their crafts and a silent auction will fill out the day. Baked potatoes and Irish stew will be served. The Fair will close with an official Irish Ceili Dance with live music supplied by Arkansa's own Diamond State Ceili Band! Proceeds raised from the Celtic Fair will benefit the Arkansas Celtic Music Society. The Arkansas Celtic Music Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c) 3 organization, which produces concerts of Celtic music, sponsors free traditional Celtic music sessions at venues in Little Rock and Hot Springs Village, and Celtic music workshops in central Arkansas.
